1. Niel makes the Protea 3D Archery Team.

Harloo Safaris is proud to announce that Niel Uys, Professional Hunter and Farm Manager of Harloo Safaris has made the National 3D Archery Team.

After a very long 3D archery season a lot of traveling and training Niel has earned his National colors and has been selected for the National Team (Proteas) to compete in the World 3D archery competition held in Italy Florence. This competition will take place on June 16 to June 23 2017. We want to congratulate Niel with his achievement and hope that he will make our country proud! Good luck Niel!

The criteria to be able to make the Protea team consist of the best scores shot by an individual for the last 12, 6 and 3 months before the World Archery Champs. These scores are used in a formula to calculate the stands of an individual. Only the top 3 Archers in the country are chosen and a fourth member of the team may be chosen if his score is even or very close to the person laying 3rd.
