Mpunzi Lodge, which means “Grey Duiker” in Zulu, or our luxury Safari Style lodge where you will be accommodated with true South African hospitality. The lodge and boma offers atmosphere in abundance.
It is cozily enclosed by bush and carefully built amongst shady indigenous trees. Evenings in the boma area are spent reliving our daily adventures around a crackling bushveld fire - under the African sky with its thousands of stars.
Adjoining the boma is an air-conditioned lounge/dining area where traditional African dishes are served. A swimming pool nestled amongst rocks provides soothing relief after a day in the warm sun. Cross a footbridge over a stream to reach your comfortable suites, connected with little trails through the undergrowth and tucked in the bush for the ultimate in privacy. The Suites are top notch! They are spacious, luxurious and air-conditioned with a balcony. Buffalo Suite has a lounge and adjacent en-suite room with 2 beds for children.
Our luxury Safari Style tented camp is very special! It has modern en-suite amenities, airconditioners and 3 x 2 bed 500sq ft tents. A cozy feeling of timber trails and the jungle comes to mind here!
The dining area, kitchen and all other facilities are modern clean mortar and brick structures. Should you wish to treat yourself, a top class Health and Beauty Spa with a lovely view over the bush and lake is at your disposal.

Accommodation: 9 Beds (3x3 bed luxury tents)
The camp and boma offers atmosphere in abundance. It's cozily enclosed by bush carefully built among huge shady indigenous trees. A well-equipped and spacious building with modern kitchen, bar and braai area adjoins the air-conditioned lounge and dinner area as one cozy unit.
Along a riverbed are the 3 comfortable Colonial styled tents, each with 3 beds. They are spread into the surrounding bush for privacy. Little trails run through the undergrowth connect them. Each has a balcony. Inside are a cupboard, dressing table and clean, tiled en-suite ablutions with hot water shower, washing basin and separate flush toilet. Comfortable queen size beds with a warm colonial feel decor makes out the interior. The tents are big and measure 10m x 5m or 50 square meters each, so mattresses for kids can easily be added if necessary!
A small 4x3 meter swimming pool is situated adjacent to the social area.
