Rates and Fees

Please inquire about species not listed. We have most available on concession. Rates are subject to change due to exchange rates but will be confirmed beforehand.

Big 5 (min 5 nights) and Plains Game Hunts:

  • Daily tariff for 1 hunter,  1 professional hunter: $450 per hunter per day.

  • Daily tariff for 2 hunters, 1 professional hunter:  $350 per hunter per day 

  • Non Hunting observer:  $150 per person per day.

  • Junior hunters U/16 Free 1x junior per hunting client on 1:1 rate, sharing one guide

  • Accommodation, bedding, towels, laundry services and camp attendants.

  • All meals and snacks, soft drinks and fruit juices.

  • Professional Hunter, vehicles and trackers.

  • Field preparation of trophies (salting and drying).

  • Delivery of trophies to local taxidermist.

  • Government License fees except for Rhino and Giraffe.

  • Trophy fees of animals bagged or wounded.

  • All hotel accommodation before and after the safari.

  • Packing, dipping and shipping of trophies by taxidermists. 

  • All flights, road transport between hunting destinations as well as airport to camps.

  • Excursions e.g. Game Parks, day trips, taxidermy visits and fishing charters.

  • Medical expenses, liquor, beer and wines

  • Gratuities to staff 

  • Rifle hire: $60 per day. Ammo: $80 per box, .375 and up $100 per box or part thereof.

  • 15% Value added tax on all services except trophy fees.

Terms of Business
  • All prices are quoted in US DOLLARS.

  • To confirm a booking, 50% of the daily rate for every day booked is required.

  • Payment can only be affected in cash or electronic transfers.

  • Unless a safari is re booked, there will unfortunately be no refund on cancellations.

  • Before the commencement of the safari, clients are required to sign a safari contract, and indemnity forms.

  • Costs incurred during the safari, including trophies, are payable on completion of safaris.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Safari days are calculated by nights booked on safari and not nights stayed or hunted. 

  • Days between hunting concessions will be considered hunting days, as well as the day of arrival in camp.

  • Extra expenses eg.hotels, excursions, dinners, takeaways are for clients account. 

  • There could be a charge for transportation between provinces and concessions.

  • Harloo Safaris can only refer to a taxidermist. We cannot be held responsible for taxidermy defects, or the time involved in finishing the work.

  • When it comes to wounded animals that are priced on a horn length scale, the price of the larger animal will be charged unless the horns are found and can be measured.
